A theatrical adaptation of Susan Hill’s famous novel by Stephen Mallatratt – The Woman in Black.
This story has captivated both cinema and theatre, and while it may not be widely known in Ukraine, the Theatre on Podil is preparing an exclusive, true horror production. With stunning special effects that will make your blood run cold, the finale promises to be shockingly chilling — just as a great horror should be.
To achieve this, we have invited director and designer Andreas von Schlippe from Germany. As the chief designer of the Austrian Festival with over a decade of experience in theatrical technologies, he brings a wealth of expertise to the production.
This new performance will push our stage’s potential to the limit — holograms, lighting effects, unexpected staging solutions, and an overwhelming sense of something supernatural lurking nearby. The ghostly woman, the pain of loss, the unbreakable curse — this production will leave you breathless and make you believe that ghosts are real.
